Flagship Incentive Programs
Michigan Business Development Program
MBDP is designed to provide grants, loans or other economic assistance to businesses for highly competitive projects in Michigan that create jobs and/or provide investment.
Strategic Site Readiness Program
SSRP provides financial incentives to eligible applicants to conduct eligible activities on, or related to, strategic sites in Michigan for the purpose of creating investment-ready sites to attract and promote investment in Michigan.
New Jobs Training Program
NJTP authorizes community colleges to create a training pool to support employers that are creating new jobs and/or expanding operations in Michigan.

Michigan Business Development Program
MBDP is designed to provide grants, loans or other economic assistance to businesses for highly competitive projects in Michigan that create jobs and/or provide investment.
Michigan Community Revitalization Program
MCRP promotes community revitalization with access to gap financing incentives for eligible projects located on properties that are contaminated, blighted, functionally obsolete or a historic resource.
Critical Industry Program
CIP provides qualified investments for deal-closing, gap financing, or other economic assistance to create or retain qualified jobs as a result of a technological shift in product, production, or to make capital investments in Michigan.
State Essential Services Assessment (SESA)
Exemptions for qualifying investment(s) in eligible personal property owned by, leased to, or in the possession of an eligible claimant.
Industrial Facilities Exemption (P.A. 198 of 1974)
Provides a tax incentive to manufacturers to enable renovation and expansion of aging facilities, assist in the building of new facilities, and to promote the establishment of high tech facilities.
State Historic Preservation Tax Credits
The State Historic Preservation Tax Credit helps support place-based projects while promoting the preservation of Michigan’s historic resources.
