Flagship Incentive Programs
Michigan Business Development Program
MBDP is designed to provide grants, loans or other economic assistance to businesses for highly competitive projects in Michigan that create jobs and/or provide investment.
Strategic Site Readiness Program
SSRP provides financial incentives to eligible applicants to conduct eligible activities on, or related to, strategic sites in Michigan for the purpose of creating investment-ready sites to attract and promote investment in Michigan.
New Jobs Training Program
NJTP authorizes community colleges to create a training pool to support employers that are creating new jobs and/or expanding operations in Michigan.

Michigan Community Revitalization Program
MCRP promotes community revitalization with access to gap financing incentives for eligible projects located on properties that are contaminated, blighted, functionally obsolete or a historic resource.
Transformational Brownfield Plan
TBP affords developers the opportunity to capture a portion of specific incremental taxes generated from largescale transformational projects for a specified time period.
Brownfield Redevelopment (P.A. 381 of 1996)
Brownfield Programs help develop walkable communities with historical architecture, provide support for mixed-use developments, help activate public spaces, enrich arts and cultural amenities and more.
Public Spaces Community Places
PSCP is a grant match program that utilizes donation-based crowdfunding to generate public interest and funding to revitalize or create public spaces.
Build MI Community
Provides property owners and real-estate entrepreneurs with limited development experience access to gap financing for incremental development projects that re-activate underutilized or vacant space into vibrant areas.
State Historic Preservation Tax Credits
The State Historic Preservation Tax Credit helps support place-based projects while promoting the preservation of Michigan’s historic resources.
