EXTENSION: International Trade Foreign Centers RFP

The purpose of this RFP is to seek contractors to provide trade promotion services to Michigan based companies seeking export sales in the following target markets and regions: Brazil, China, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Middle East (to cover Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman). The RFP is designed to provide potential bidders with sufficient information to submit a proposal that meets the MEDC’s minimum requirements, but the minimum requirements contained in this RFP are not intended to limit the proposal’s content or exclude any information the bidder feels is relevant or essential to their proposal.

EXTENSION: MEDC-Defense Industry Growth Area Grants

MEDC's Michigan Defense Center (MDC) is seeking proposals from local economic development organizations (LEDOs) within Prosperity Regions 3, 4, 5, 8 as well as the 13 County Advance Michigan Defense Collaborative Department of Defense (DOD) Office of Economic Adjustment service region of Clinton, Eaton, Genesee, Ingham, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Shiawassee, St. Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne Counties to assist the MEDC/MDC in expanding and growing key defense and homeland security industry growth sectors within Michigan, including 3D printing, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, autonomous aerial systems, autonomous ground systems, cybersecurity and robotics. The RFP is designed to provide potential bidders with sufficient information to submit a proposal that meets the MEDC’s minimum requirements, but the minimum requirements contained in this RFP are not intended to limit the proposal’s content or exclude information the bidder feels is relevant.

MEDC PlanetM Pilot Project Manager

MEDC is seeking a contractor to project manage pilot grants for mobility startups as part of the PlanetM Startup Grant announced in June 2018. PlanetM is an initiative under the Michigan Economic Development Corporation focused on attracting and supporting global mobility companies through asset coordination, company connections and technology activation. The PlanetM Startup Grants will help to deploy mobility startup technologies in Michigan to solve real-world problems and position the State of Michigan as a hub for mobility pilots and testing. MEDC Rising Tide Communities Fellowship Program RFP

The purpose of this RFP is to seek a contractor to develop and administer a fellowship program to build capacity in communities participating in Round 2 of Project Rising Tide. The purpose of this initiative is to assist distressed communities with building a strong planning, zoning and economic development foundation and to build capacity in the communities. The RFP is designed to provide potential bidders with sufficient information to submit a proposal that meets the MEDC’s minimum requirements, but the minimum requirements contained in this RFP are not intended to limit the proposal’s content or exclude any information the bidder feels is relevant or essential to their proposal.
