Michigan Ready Sites
Michigan Ready Sites
The Michigan Ready Sites program helps communities and developers prepare properties for future investment—building a stronger pipeline of competitive, development-ready sites across the state.
The Michigan Ready Sites program is a dual-track initiative designed to proactively strengthen Michigan’s inventory of investment-ready properties. Through site readiness awards and technical assistance grants, communities gain the resources and support needed to position their sites for future investment and development opportunities.
- Site readiness awards: Funding for infrastructure improvements and site enhancements that move properties closer to development readiness.
- Technical assistance grants: Resources to engage consultants, engineering firms, and other experts who can help evaluate, identify, and advance competitive sites.
Communities, economic developers, and property owners can use Michigan Ready Sites to strengthen site readiness and prepare for future investment opportunities. Funds are available, and eligible applicants must request access to the application before applying. Training and guidance are provided at each step of the process to support success.
Michigan Ready Sites – MI Sites Scholarship:
The Michigan Ready Sites – MI Sites Scholarship is designed to help communities prepare sites for application to the MI Sites program, MEDC’s site readiness evaluation initiative.
