The Archipelago Project believes in music. The non-profit outreach ensemble is dedicated to educating and inspiring students and adults through hands-on master classes, performance workshops and community performances. The ensemble provides education programs such as school residencies, the 12 Trumpets program and the Junior Archipelago Ensemble, along with interactive community concerts and tailored performances.

These programs are met with rave reviews and sold out theaters.
This continues to be Ms. Barker's vision for the Grand Rapids Ballet: creating a diverse international selection of dance that offers powerful entertainment for all audiences. Programming can be tailored to audience, curriculum and region.
Great Lakes Children's MuseumTraverse City Grand Traverse
Stuffee- Body Basics Stuffee is a seven-foot, "friend " with a zipper down his front that helps children learn about the body parts they can't see. Body Basics is a 30 min presentation designed for a classroom or small groups. Stuffee's soft -sculpture digestive, respiratory and circulatory organs are removed one at a time so kids can appreciate both their size and shape, and can understand how body organs work together.

The sanctuary deploys a variety of speakers to share current research and education programs across the state. We have two types of outreach programs. The Traveling Naturalist is a program where a professional naturalist travels to the school to do a one hour program up to three hours. The subjects are: Pioneer Tools and Toys, The French Voyaguer, Abraham Lincoln - Honest and Lucky, and Slithers, Shells and Slimy Ones. Virtual Field Trips are performed using live, real-time interactive TV. The Hartley naturalist can interact directly with the students at their school through the TV. There are thirteen programs to choose from including: The French Voyageur, Abraham Lincoln, Owls with pellet dissection, Bats, Slime, Junk to Jewelry, Native Bead Making, Frogs and Toads, Worms, Recycling, Caterpillars, Leaves, and Farm Animals.

Hear the music, see the rifles and learn about soldier life all from your classroom. Two costumed interpreters bring the fur trade and Straits history to life with exciting demonstrations, hands on activities and a truck full of touchables. Students help in trading and bartering, carry a fur bale, get dressed in historic clothing and hear the sounds of the past!

The Howell Conference and Nature Center offers several school-based outdoor education and live wildlife education programs. Examples include: Live Birds of Prey, Michigan Mammals, Creatures of the Night (nocturnal birds and mammals) and the Spirit of Alexandria Nature Bus – a hands-on mobile classroom presented with our live raptor program. Also offered is a comprehensive adventure and team building program.

Dynamic and thought provoking, engaging and educational, heart-warming and sometimes outrageous, Jenifer Strauss uses stories to enrich lives. Offering a unique brand of energy-injected performances, workshops, trainings and keynotes, she captures interest, motivates learning and inspires writing. A former environmental and elementary educator, Strauss discovered that people think, learn and imagine in narrative. In 1993 she combined her love of teaching and story and founded Story Be Told Productions, helping educators, businesses, organizations and individuals use story to connect, communicate and clarify their goals. Strauss is the creator of the Turning Points Personal Narrative Model and co-founder of The Center for Imagination.

The innovative Ann Arbor Dance Works has produced multi-layered works of resonance, depth, and beauty since 1985. Concerts feature works by the renowned University of Michigan Dance faculty and by international guest artists to critical and popular acclaim, both nationally and internationally. Designers, poets, videographers, visual artists and composers contribute to the creation of the unique and fascinating performances given by highly skilled dancers.
The company performs for general audiences, senior citizens and public school children, and all respond enthusiastically to the captivating performances that range in size from two to eight dancers. Community residencies featuring master classes and lecture demonstrations are specially shaped for each audience, providing comprehensive views of the creative process.
Jewish Ensemble TheatreWest Blomfield Oakland
JET currently has three shows which tour to schools in Genesee, Ingham, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.These three plays deal with bullying awareness and prevention at age appropriate levels.Each play is ½ hour long and easily sets up in a gym or multi purpose room if an auditorium with a stage is not available.The plays are followed by a brief talk back with the actors and students which is designed to get students to begin thinking and talking about what they have just seen.
