MEDC and Automation Alley invite interested companies to join this trade mission to Australia and New Zealand, two nations that share with the U.S. a common culture, business practices, and a legal framework which reduced non-tariff barriers to trade. Additionally, the Australia-U.S. Free Trade Agreement of 2005 allows for 99% of U.S. exports to enter duty-free. New Zealand is consistently voted first in the world for ease of doing business, according to the World Bank.
Australia and New Zealand have especially strong demand for the following U.S.-made products, services, and technologies:
- Advanced manufacturing, design, and engineering services
- Aerospace/defense
- Automotive parts
- Agricultural (New Zealand’s leading industry)
- Cleantech and environmental technologies
