This position provides technical assistance to Michigan communities through the use of incentive tools that advance project development in both the downtown and surrounding communities. Incumbent works to expand and implement a variety of statewide development projects.
This position will serve as the Michigan Main Street (MMS) program specialist on the Retail Economic Vitality component of the Main Street Four-Point Approach. As the recognized resource for the Retail Economic Vitality component of the MMS program, this employee will provide professional and technical assistance, resources, and services to local MMS communities including the Engaged, Select, and Master Levels.
This position will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on the statewide accounting system (SIGMA) for the Financial Services Bureau, with an emphasis on the highly complex processes and functions within the Accounting Services section in the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF).
The Facilities & Administration Coordinator is responsible for carrying out a range of administrative, telecommunication and facilities activities for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
This Financial Analyst manages asset programs (Loan, Equity, CAP, Collateral and Participation) via subsidiary ledgers, performs analytical review of account balances, and monitors financial data for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation/Michigan Strategic Fund.
