When we announced KLA's plans for bringing our second north American headquarters to Michigan, we knew it was going to be an exceptional place to expand our R&D programs and develop a new AI center of excellence. Demands for innovations in semiconductors continue to increase as we see technologies like 5G and AI proliferate. Michigan Named Core Partner of New Silicon Crossroads Microelectronics Commons Hub

The Department of Defense (DOD) announced a $32.9 million award to establish the Silicon Crossroads Microelectronics Commons Hub (SCMC). The new tech hub will speed up the production of microelectronics and develop our region’s semiconductor workforce.
