The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is hiring for the following position(s). These vacancies may be filled either as corporate or state.

City/County: Lansing/Ingham (Hybrid/Remote)

Type of Employment: Full-Time

Pay Grade and Annual Salary: Position has option to be filled at either corporate 3 level or state 9-11 level. State 9-11: $23.43 - $36.73 Hourly Corp. 3: Begins at $60,200 annually. Additional consideration may be given based on relevant skills and experience.

This position serves as a Talent Solutions Specialist at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation responsible for working closely with stakeholders to gather, consolidate, and evaluate information about programs, processes, and best practices, and disseminate information between, employers, talent program providers/training providers or educational institutions, and economic development partners.  Position leads employer engagement as assigned, serves a program manager to coordinate training and recruitment resources, and orients new partners with talent program information and procedures.

Preferred candidate will have experience in talent enhancement and/or workforce development. Deep knowledge of one or more of the following industries: automotive/mobility, semiconductors, life sciences/ medical device tech, high tech, or advanced manufacturing is also preferred.

This position will be based out of Lansing with the ability to work a hybrid/remote schedule.

Minimum Education Required:

Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in any major.  Prefer a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.

Minimum Experience Required:

This position requires two to four years of related experience and/or training in talent enhancement, curriculum development, workforce development, talent pipeline management, or human resources.

Experience and familiarity with one or more of the following industries: automotive/mobility, semiconductors, life sciences/ medical device tech, high tech, or advanced manufacturing is preferred.
