The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is hiring for the following corporate position.
Job Title and Level: Marketing Content Coordinator
City/County: Lansing/Ingham (Temporarily Remote)
Type of Employment: Full-Time
Pay Grade and Annual Salary: Grade 3; Pay grade 3 begins at $55,040 annually. Additional compensation consideration given based on relevant skills, education, and experience.

The Marketing Content Coordinator works within the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s (MEDC) Marketing & Communications department and with internal customers to create effective written communication that is delivered through multiple marketing and media distribution This position will be expected to serve as the primary copywriter, editor, and internal consultant for marketing content and to produce copy that will be used across various channels (e.g. sales collateral, digital content, e-mail marketing communications, direct marketing, etc.).

Minimum Education Required:
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience Required:
A minimum of two to four years of professional writing experience in a marketing, advertising, public relations or related environment; Preferred candidate will have experience as a copywriter or content creator with excellent writing and editing skills.
