City/County: Field-based
Type of Employment: Full-Time
Pay Grade and Annual Salary: Level 5 pay grade starts at $86,625 annually. Additional consideration given based on knowledge and experience.

The International Trade Manager manages Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s (MEDC) international trade initiative to encourage, promote and facilitate the export of Michigan products and/or services. The primary focus will be on small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Supervisor: Alyssa Tracey, Director, International Trade
Minimum Education Required:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Required:
This position requires a minimum of four to six years related experience and/or training in international trade, international business, marketing, public policy, law or economic development. Competency in second language preferred; private sector experience preferred.
