The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is hiring for the following corporate position.

City/County: Lansing/Ingham (Temporarily Remote)
Type of Employment: Full-Time
Pay Grade and Annual Salary: Grade 3 begins at $55,040. Additional compensation consideration given based on relevant skills, education and experience.

This position serves as a liaison to Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) staff, constituencies, stakeholders, clients and the public in order to represent the MEDC while implementing sound judgment and maintaining strict confidentiality. Provides administrative and secretarial support for the President/Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operating Officer.

Minimum Education Required:
This position requires completion of high school diploma or equivalent. An associate’s degree, with coursework in business related computer software applications is preferred.
Minimum Experience Required:
This position requires a minimum of two to four years of related experience working in a professional or executive office setting providing executive support and advanced secretarial responsibilities including experience and proficiency with word processing, database, calendaring and presentation software; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of experience reporting directly to senior management and/or working directly with government officials is preferred.
