Pay Grade and Annual Salary: $21.51 - $37.76 Hourly

Come be part of the team as a Community Development Incentive Program Specialist.
The Brownfield/MCRP Program Specialist is responsible for reviews of Michigan Community Revitalization Program (MCRP) grant incentives and Brownfield Tax Increment Financing (TIF) incentives. This position performs statutory reviews for Act 381 Work Plans and for MCRP and prepares briefing memos and resolutions for the MSF Board and/or MSF Board Delegates.
This senior analyst serves as the recognized resource for project reviews in Regions 1, 5 and 9.

This position will be based out of the Lansing office with the ability to work a hybrid/remote schedule upon MEDC’s official return to office date.
Business Unit: Economic Development Incentives; Community Development Incentives
Supervisor: Jake Winder, Manager, CD Incentives
Minimum Education Required:
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Minimum Experience Required:
Departmental Analyst 9
No specific type or amount is required.
Departmental Analyst 10
One year of professional experience.
Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
Departmental Analyst 12
Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
Prefer 2 years of experience administering similar community development grant programs, business development grant
programs and/or loan programs.
