Executive Vice President, Chief Community Development & Marketing Officer
Greg Tedder is the Executive Vice President and Chief Community Development and Marketing Officer for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. In this role, Greg is responsible for the management of the Community Development team, the Travel Michigan campaign, and the Marketing and Communications division. His focus is to support the growth of vibrant, diverse and resilient communities across Michigan and promote the state as a place to live, work and play.
Greg has been with the State of Michigan since 2011 and prior to joining the MEDC, Greg served as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Governor Rick Snyder. During his time in the Governor’s Office Greg was responsible for developing and implementing the strategic initiatives of the administration and in 2013 he served as the Governor’s Official liaison to Kevyn Orr, the Emergency Manager for Detroit.
Greg is a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
