The Michigan Economic Development Corporation Announces $2,500,350 Capacity Building Infrastructure Loan to Muskegon County

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation today announced the approval of a $2,500,350 loan to Muskegon County for a capacity building infrastructure loan project. The loan will be used to upgrade Muskegon County’s wastewater management system. The project is expected to result in the creation of 250, full-time jobs."By working together, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Muskegon County are making a commitment to further fuel Michigan’s booming economy," said Doug Rothwell, president and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. "The new jobs will be a welcome addition to the communities located within Muskegon County."The Michigan Economic Development Corporation works in partnership with local communities and Michigan businesses to retain and expand job opportunities and improve Michigan’s overall business climate.
