The Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced today the award of a two year advertising contract to Brogan and Partners, a Detroit-based advertising firm. The contract for advertising services, valued at $13 million per year, was retained by Brogan & Partners, which served as the corporation's agency of record previously. It includes an option for a two year extension, bringing the maximum contract length to four years."Brogan and Partners has done a great job helping Michigan strengthen its image over the last several years. After reviewing all the proposals, it became clear that staying with Brogan was the best way to further our goals," said Doug Rothwell, President and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation."Brogan and Partners was instrumental in helping us launch the new Great Lakes. Great Times.' tourism re-branding effort three years ago," said Susy Avery, Vice President of Travel Michigan. "That's been such a success, we are excited to continue our relationship."The contract covers $8 million per year in advertising designed to attract tourism to the state and $5 million per year designed to attract business growth to the state.
