The Michigan Economic Development Corporation today welcomed Rösler International GmbH & Company to the city of Battle Creek. The company, which manufactures surface treatment processing machinery, is making a $7 million investment in the project and anticipates employing 50 workers at this site."This is great news for the city of Battle Creek," said Doug Rothwell, president and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. "Rösler and the new jobs will be a welcome addition to the community."The Michigan Economic Development Corporation also announced that an economic development job training grant worth $58,000 will be provided to help train the 50 new employees. This grant, funded by the corporation's Economic Development Job Training program, will be conducted by a training provider chosen by the company. In addition, the company has also been granted a local tax abatement of $737,692 and a state abatement of $84,685.Rösler International, founded in 1949, has locations around the world. This site will be Rösler International's North American production facility.
