The Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced today that it has hired David M. Jeup to be Vice President of Global Business Development. In that role, Jeup will be charged with recruiting new investment and new job creation to Michigan from companies in the U.S. and abroad.Prior to joining the corporation, Jeup served as Director, Corporate Services Group for Colliers International, a site location firm in Bingham Farms. Jeup has worked in corporate real estate and consulting for 13 years."David's experience in site selection, incentive negotiations and real estate deals makes him the ideal candidate to represent Michigan," said Doug Rothwell, president and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. "He's worked on the company side, so he'll bring an excellent perspective on their needs, ultimately resulting in more good jobs for Michigan residents."Jeup is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy and a board member of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan. He begins his new role today.
