The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is hosting the Downtown Revitalization Conference in Bay City October 26-28 in an effort to help community leaders create successful strategies and case studies for attracting new investment, jobs and young professionals to city centers. More than 20 downtown development professionals will speak at the three-day event being held at the Double Tree Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Bay City.

"Economically healthy downtowns are an essential component of our ongoing efforts to attract jobs and investment to Michigan," said MEDC President and CEO Don Jakeway. "This conference is a great way for development professionals and downtown developers to exchange ideas and learn from successful revitalization case studies from across the state."

The program opens with registration at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday and adjourns at noon on Thursday. The $150 admission covers all three days, two evening events and continental breakfast.
