MEDC-Assisted Projects Attract $4.6 Million in Capital Investment
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced that pharmaceutical start-up Lycera will expand in Ann Arbor and IT company Netlink Software Group will expand in Madison Heights. Together the projects are expected to create 507 new jobs and generate $4.6 million in new capital investment as a result of assistance from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
The projects announced today:
- Lycera Corporationplans to invest $676,000 to establish operations in Ann Arbor
- Netlink Software Group, a provider of professional information technology services will invest $4 million to expand and relocate its facilities from Southfield to Madison Heights
,MEDC President and CEO James C. Epolito said.
The expansions are two of 10 economic development projects the governor announced today. In all, they are expected to create a total of 14,358 Michigan jobs.
