Former Landfill Site for New Manufacturing Facility
Warrior Lacrosse will partner with DKM Holdings LLC to redevelop a former landfill located at 32125 Hollingsworth Avenue. DKM Holdings will use state and local tax capture valued at $2.1 million and a brownfield Single Business Tax credit worth $620,000 to prepare the site and build a new 116,000-square-foot manufacturing, warehousing and distribution facility that will be leased to Warrior Lacrosse. An additional 87,200 square feet could potentially be added during the second phase of the expansion. The city of Warren has proposed a local tax abatement over 12 years to support the project.
The redevelopment is one of seven economic development projects the Governor announced today. In all, they are expected to create and retain a total of 669 Michigan jobs.
Our innovative brownfield incentives help communities make vacant and underutilized properties useful again
