Companies Alphi and SKD to Invest $12.4 Million in State
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced that two Michigan companies, Alphi Manufacturing and SKD Automotive Group, will expand in Jonesville as a result of assistance from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. The projects are expected to create 1,024 new jobs and involve more than $12.4 million in private investment.
The two projects announced today:
- Manufacturer of metal tubular products Alphi Manufacturing Inc.plans to invest $4.2 million to expand and upgrade its facility in Jonesville
- Metal stamping manufacturer SKDJonesville
The expansions are two of seven economic development projects the Governor announced today. In all, they are expected to create and retain a total of 1,666 Michigan jobs.
