Governor Announces Assistance to Support JB Labs Expansion in Holland Charter Township

HollandCharter Township

HollandCharter Townshipwill use the grant to make road improvements, relocate a water main and extend a wastewater line to support the construction of a new 50,000-square-foot warehouse.

The MEDC is able to award approximately $40 million in federal CDBG funds each year. There are 1,655 local governments within the state eligible to apply for these funds. Projects are approved contingent upon compliance with state and federal requirements.

Founded in 1978, JB Laboratories manufactures vitamins, pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements. The company is 100-percent employee-owned and operates a state-of-the-art production facility in the North HEDCOR Industrial park.JB Laboratories currently employs about 335 people.
